I'm certainly not bitchin' about it, both were Rauf weren't they? Lets burn effigy's of him to make us feel better?

Jan 17, 2008 - Its fair, but probably not fair enough. The way sachin was batting, it looked as if he was never going to get out and was looking good for a big big score. You can't compare the value of sachin vis a vis Rogers. hey i know i am being over critical ;-)

Jan 17, 2008 - I think it was a 50/50 decision (hoci did show it was just about clipping the leg stump and height was decent). But i agree marginal decisions like this should go or rather typically go in favour of batsman. In case of Sachin the ball was not only going over the stumps, but also slightly out side off, if you see if carefully. I agree with you thats cricket, 1 or 2 or even 3 bad decisions should be something which should be acceptable in Tests.

Jan 18, 2008 - whats horrible about the decsion hawkeye clearly indicates that it was cliiping the leg stump, sachin's first inning's dismissal was horrible.we don't want umpires to be sacked for one or two bad decision but when it keeps on piling then thats bad umpiring and one who is bad in his job should be treated that way to make him understand
