Jun 23, 2008 - Sakurai have put too much references to Kirby's serie in all the Smash Bros. games
AskUmed Escribio:
Jun 24, 2008 - Talk about it -.-
K2JMan Escribio:
Jul 6, 2008 - I vote coincidence. And Sakurai has every right to have little references to his games - he's been very humble with preventing Meta Knight or Dedede from appearing in the first two, and only caved due to fan outcry. Considering the Smash Bros. series' engine is very Kirby-esque, it makes sense that a lot of similarities pop up. That being said, I would have liked Subspace Emissary more if it wasn't so Kirby-ish.
mrbenio Escribio:
Jul 9, 2008 - I don't see any similarities.
AskUmed Escribio:
Jul 9, 2008 - LOL im sorry, but if you couldnt HEAR the similarities, then you clearly dont pay any attention to anything
DarknessDragon0X Escribio:
Aug 7, 2008 - Both are roughly similar
Godoflegos Escribio:
Sep 7, 2008 - They are very similar, yet also very different. But yeah, it was mostly to tie in Kirby's intro, like if you notice, the next part ties in a Star Fox-esque tune
DaJayman654 Escribio:
Oct 7, 2008 - As it shows Kirby's scene in the opening, it has Kirby music.

Nov 15, 2008 - Please, it's thanks to his classic KSS that there's even a Smash Bros. It takes a lot of it's control, it's guard, it's bosses, it's on player mode, it's all star mode, and so on from Kirby. I don't see the harm in him added more Kirby to it when the smash brothers games are practically Kirby games. KSS was Sakurai's greatest game and it makes sense he'd go back to it for inspiration.
