The only thing I try to accomplish is to inspire and stimulate people to play bass. If *I* can play certain things (bad or good) then *ANYONE* can do it. Like I said, I am not special nor 'good'. I am just me having fun on the bass. Compared to others I might be a lousy player. So? Music is no competition. Its a universal language.

Apr 23, 2008 - Hey Generalbas1972, no offense taken my friend. The problem with recording through your computer is the latency effect that occurs (delay). I simply play through a Behringer V-Amp pre-amp that has my iPod hooked up to it as well to play along with. That thing goes straight into my computer and from there on I record with an audio recording application + a video application. To get back to MarloweDK, he uses a Korg pre amp and kinda does the same thing. Look at his pics on his site. Peace!

Apr 23, 2008 - That should work but the problem is that you will be able to record your bass but not the song simultaneously. If the sound recorder can pick up both signals at the same time (mic in + your audio player) then it will work. I guess you should try it. Maybe you can hook up an external CD player or something and just use one input channel. That will always work.
