Feb 27, 2008 - lovely song, especially to one who has depression...heath ledger was such a genius--he kept on creating through the depression and insomnia and anxiety--but at what a price...

emdiggitydogg Escribio:

Feb 27, 2008 - or is it heath ledger just likes good music? stupid fuckin ACA. Anita Quigley you are a stupid idiot

Outrajess Escribio:

Feb 27, 2008 - I completely agree. ACA is trying to make people think that Heath ACTING in a MUSIC VIDEO a YEAR before his death is some sort of massive revelation on his state of mind before he died. It isn't and since when do "journalists" consider music videos fact?

lunchbox029 Escribio:

Feb 27, 2008 - this is hilarious. these are exactly the type of people that should never analyze art. and we have a video of them doing so. i pity the artists that go through this and heath ledger is not exception. i have an art teacher at school who talks about francesca woodman posing for men in her photos and bresson's photos being feminine. it's either painful or hilarious. in this case, it's pretty funny.

scruttino Escribio:

Feb 27, 2008 - What I dislike the most about this, is that they are constantly talking over the top of a video people have been wanting to see. If you going to do a story like this just let people watch the video and don't judge it by making speculative comments This is a case of the top price winning the bidding war and them being a commercial TV station, not a good combination If someone has the whole uncut video please upoload it, or tell where I can watch it without being subject to this abomination

Feb 27, 2008 - these people are so full of shit . it's nice to finally see this video that heath made , though .

johnfinbarburke Escribio:

Feb 27, 2008 - aah yes ,, the good old dark place . has inspired loed of artists ,,

ampersand019 Escribio:

Feb 27, 2008 - True, john. But, I'm torn when I watch this. Heath clearly struggled alone toward the end, but did his interest in Drake and the making of this video (and a screenplay apparently) portend his own tragic end? Or, does it explain more the love he had for Drake's music? Probably the truth lies somewhere between both. At least they are both now at peace.

mjazz3981 Escribio:

Feb 27, 2008 - so now we have a whole bunch of parasites wondering about Heath Ledger's emotional/mental state because of his fasination with Nick Drake. oooooh eerie coincidence hey!!! they both died overdosing on prescription drugs....perhaps they'd like to tell us what other things Ledger and Drake held in common, considering Drake was not an actor and did not achieve anywhere near the fame of Ledger before he (Drake) died. Thousands of depressed people in the world, who cares about them? very sad indeed.

187ash187 Escribio:

Feb 27, 2008 - FFS ACA eats d!ck. It's just a music video! If it was a George Michael one then, SUDDENLY, he'd've committed suicide, unable to suppress his homosexuality! The music video has no relation, IMHO.

s3ath Escribio:

Feb 28, 2008 - serice let the brillent ozzie actor live in peace stop makin all this crap about a true ozzie desrespectful fuck heads

jeole Escribio:

Feb 28, 2008 - I fricking hate ACA. Bunch of histrionic drama queens in a media frenzy trying to get ratings. why on earth did i watch this video. ACA needs a reality check.

lkknee Escribio:

Feb 28, 2008 - Was it a clue was it a message? No it wasnt you rating obsessed assholes.

raincoaster Escribio:

Feb 28, 2008 - I couldn't believe how that twit smiled when she asked that. She was thinking of her bonus, maybe.

nedyken Escribio:

Feb 28, 2008 - first of all this is bullshit. Ledger was an artist. To assume this video was somehow a "cry out" is freakin retarded. With that said, he did spend 2 years writing a biopic about Nick Drake and it's possible delving deeply into the drake's mindstate (along with the joker role and several other projects) lead to his trouble sleeping (too much crap on his mind). I don't buy anything other than that.

hjhq Escribio:

Feb 28, 2008 - What the hell, the picture they showed of Heath looking "disheveled" was taken while he was filming a movie! Oh I do hate the media.

hazeyjane Escribio:

Feb 28, 2008 - Nick Drake died in 1974 at the age of 26.

emilyxox7 Escribio:

Feb 28, 2008 - ok the media are idiots heath wasnt depressed it was the way he made the video to fit with the depressing song and how the singer died.

M4A0S7H7 Escribio:

Feb 28, 2008 - WTF does this lady, a "Newspaper Collumnist," have to do with the mind-set of Heath Ledger?? Stupid. So Stupid.

ampersand019 Escribio:

Feb 29, 2008 - I'm sorry if my comment here has offended anyone. Heath's death is so tragic and painful for many, and I hate that something I've said disregards that in any way.

Dualle Escribio:

Feb 29, 2008 - I don't know if this was a cry for help or just a projectbut whatever it was it seems so beautiful. He will be missed...

fredax3 Escribio:

Feb 29, 2008 - well, i miss him already.. :/

illshootanyone Escribio:

Feb 29, 2008 - Im pretty sure that no one takes this show seriosly. I find it more comic relief than anything.

seeso Escribio:

Feb 29, 2008 - I wish they'd show it without all the damn talking.

nz78257 Escribio:

Feb 29, 2008 - I guess no one went to the Nick Drake Memorial Show. The Heath Ledger film could have been easily filmed and down loaded on You Tube, with so many televisions screening so many images of so many music artists interpretations of Nick Drake's songs, all in one room. This was Heath's interpretation and if he hadn't died, this exhibition would have probably passed unnoticed. Why can't this film be screened without the ACA chatter. It is, after all, art and isn't art meant to be seen?
