Ben Runkel, Percussion, with the Northern Illinois University Philharmonic conducted by Timothy Semanik on February 13th, 2008. These are sections from James MacMillan's 30 minute, tour de force percussion concerto Veni, Veni, Emmanuel. It can be broken down into 8 sections and I have split it up into 5 for file size purpose. (2 of the "movements" are orchestral transitions and I combined the last two into one file) ENJOY!

Jul 9, 2008 - Great performance! I was actually searching for videos of the NIU Philharmonic when I came across this. I'm starting my Masters at NIU in the fall in clarinet performance, so it's great to hear some amazing music! I'm really excited to be a part of the orchestra now :)
