The strange myth of Bladud of Bath, one of London's most ancient and curious legends, first appears in the semi-fabulous mythic histories of the Mediaeval Chronicler Geoffrey of Monmouth. Although at face value a real ripping yarn which is more than likely completely untrue, the story most probably contains a hidden meaning behind the mythological facade and is undoubtedly part of London's Living Da Vinci Code of symbolic myth and legend.... Short extract from 'Legendary London: London's Living Da Vinci Code'; first shown at the Portobello Film Festival December '07 Annual Film Maker's Convention. Sep 16, 2008 - saying that people didn't have the knowledge of making hot air balloons or other flying/gliding devices is like saying people in roman times thought the world was flat/completely untrue
