Sep 17, 2008 - Yeah, I played through the game twice in order to get all the special items(in normal mode at least), because with every colossus you defeat, your grip meter increases a little. I also ate alot of fruit, lol.

Nov 19, 2008 - You have to do time attack which you can only access after you complete the game once, and you have to pray (hit circle) next to the statue. I know you get flash arrows in Normal Time attack, but I don't know about the spear...
