Apr 1, 2008 - Hi Z!, You're absolutely correct on two fronts. First, you Identified the two bar breakout correctly, and also that it did not pull completely back to support. At no time did the exact setup appear today, and won't every single day. However the two bar pullback on weak volume after the break qualified for an experienced trader with stops in place. That said there were a total of four setups and signals in todays trade that I use. That's why you need a toolbox! Good trading!, SnP

Apr 1, 2008 - Hi SnP, Are you using sma or ema?

Apr 1, 2008 - Hi Vertixtrack!, Good question. On the particular chart I'm demonstrating tonight, both. The 20ma is an exponential moving average and the 200ma is an simple moving average. On my other screens that you don't see in the videos I use similar "optimized" combinations in my trading. Good trading!, SnP

Apr 1, 2008 - Hello SnP, Based on the lessons taught in the utube videos only (not private mentoring) was there a proper entry today on the long side? I did not see consecutive high volume bars until 12:00 -12:15 est, and once those volume bars were established we never consolidated price enough to hit a resistance/suppot line or the uptrending 20 period moving average. I spent all day waiting for an entry but in my eyes based on rules you've provided I did not see one. Thanks for your input. -- Z
