Mar 22, 2008 - I honestly since day one of Pokemon wanted Pikachu to evolve into Raichu eventually...I never really cared for pikachu. Still it would be akward if Ash had a large Raichu following him around... I hope pikachu evolves...

The anime's story lines just go round in circles. 1) Dustox leaves Jesse for shiny Dustox (just like Butterfree left Ash for pink Butterfree). 2) Pikachu beaten by Lt. Surge's Raichu, has chance to evolve, doesn't. Same will happen again. And again, probably, in ten years time.
