And I love the theme here of being helpless, since it always seems like there are so FEW of them against the tyrannical mastermind that is Kira. Aizawa's my personal favorite, with Matsuda coming in close second. And Yamamoto was the one who quit early, right? I couldn't remember, and I couldn't find his name anywhere!

Apr 30, 2008 - Aizawa is really cool, but I have a hard time placing at least Ide, Mogi, Aizawa or Matsuda over each other. But you are right with them being developed characters. No, Yamamoto is the member only in the epilogues. ;) If you watch closely, I put him in for the two last panels of the AMV. ;) Ide is the one that left before L came and then came back after he died. He also was able to team up outside cop forces to save Soichiro and catch Higuchi.

May 6, 2008 - Let me just say that anyone who dedicates a video to the Task Force immediately wins in my eyes. The song fit them surprisingly well! It really showed how they made a difference in the series and how they all have their own personalities despite being lesser characters. And just because they're not toe twiddling, hair curling, chocolate eating detectives or psychotic murders doesn't mean they're not awesome. They need more love! (I think this ended up being longer than before '^^)
