May 3, 2008 - Wow, Im not too crazy about mc donalds I only eat their french fries and cheese sticks,once in a while, Im a vegetarian so I rather eat my home made Puerto Rican Rice and Beans :=)

May 3, 2008 - Mc Donalds is gross. But I have heard that they do offer sick time etc but only to the managers or people who work a certain amount of hours. It's a sad cycle and I agree with what you are saying.

Aug 5, 2008 - You got it right about poverty obesity. A study reported that poor people have less education, less understanding about nutrition, they are more likely to go for the cheap fast food junk food. They also like cheap "extra value meals" or "supersize" or "go large" meals. Fast food is cheap convenient but it kills. I knew a trucker who ate lots of fast food had a massive heart attack at our age. Some whole food is affordable, but it requires preparation cooking (carrots, etc.)
