My website is http://www.gemizo.net An investigation into the choices of countries Youtube has chosen to make homepages for (Australia, Brazil, Canada, France Germany, Global, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Russia, Spain, Taiwan, United Kingdom). But what about the countries with many people that don't have localized Youtube web sites (India, Indonesia, Pakista, Bangladesh, South Africa etc.). Sorry, I just noticed that Russia actually does have its own localized Youtube web site. India has 60,000,000 people connected to the internet, approximately 15 times the population of Ireland or New Zealand overall. Indonesia has 20,000,000 people connected to the internet, Pakistan has 12,000,000 people connected to the internet, and South Africa has 5,100,000 people connected to the internet.

Feb 25, 2008 - Young Man, i certainly understand your concerns. May i suggest that you have a very real opportunity to create a video sharing service for the nations neglected by youtube? INdias polulation alone should represent a sizable market for advertising. India will inevitably be recognized as you desire. Why not be the one who gets the ball rolling? I look forward to seeing more culture form India.
