Wayne Allyn Root spoke in Chicago on April 3rd, 2008 about his candidacy for the Libertarian Party. This video covers most of his speech and QA session. Unfortunately, there are two gaps in this recording due to the need to change film (they involved his discussion of Steve Kubby, and part of his discussion on the immigration issue). You may read more about the candidate at: http://www.rootforamerica.com/ And you can download a higher resolution video of this at: http://wortharchiving.com/torrents-details.php?id=598

Apr 7, 2008 - You sound good Wayne! I heard you on Mike Litman's program, great stuff!

Apr 7, 2008 - I only have two parts of the video up so far, but I'll have more up this evening. I tried to upload the whole thing to google video but it was a massive fail. Also had to reboot my server, so the "hi res" link is down until I come home from work.

Apr 9, 2008 - why the media pushing Root and not Bob Barr?

egosumabbas Escribio:

Apr 9, 2008 - Because Bob Barr just announced an "exploratory committee" this past weekend, and Root has been on TV a lot, so he's more well known by the media.

May 19, 2008 - The media is clearly NOT pushing Root. I've been wondering for weeks why the media is hushing Root! Every story I've seen or heard on the news about Libertarians has mentioned Gravel or Barr. I've seen very little mention of Root lately. PRIOR to announcing his candidacy he was all over political news shows. Now that he's announced his candidacy the MSM seems uncomfortable with him. It's just like it was with Ron Paul!

May 31, 2008 - this guy is a total asshole. He sounds like Danny Bonadouchie. And he was such an asshole in the convention coverage. He said 15 times, "Then I run next time after Barr..." STFU already.

Jun 1, 2008 - This guy needs to host infomercials.

Jun 27, 2008 - Root for veep!

Cooman456 Escribio:

Jun 27, 2008 - Why should he shutup? He has a 16 year plan. He's looking to the future. There's nothing wrong with having ambition. It's only human, and it dirves many to do good.

Jun 28, 2008 - This guy is a great speaker. I would love to see him in the debates with the other VP's

Jul 7, 2008 - It depends on what media you're talking about when you ask why the media isn't pushing Root. Root has appeared on over 100 talk radio programs. He is also doing public appearances mostly west of the Mississippi while Barr is appearing mostly on television and in person East of the Mississippi. I got that info directly from Root. And for the person who said he should be doing infomercials, he already does.
